Antique Blakeman & Dobson FAVORITE butter churn sign, circa 1890-1920 For Sale

Weighing in at 4.25 lbs, this solid cast iron \"sign\" likely identified the early Blakeman & Dobson butter churns. The plate measures slightly under 7.5 inches in width, and slightly under .5 inches in thickness. This was found buried in the floor of an old barn of a home built in the 1880\'s in Virginia. Definitely a piece of Americana, an ideal remembrance of simpler times and early mechanization.
The plate is slightly darker than the photos--I\'ve adjusted the lighting for the front a bit for ease of reading the lettering.
