Antique Catholic Viaticum Kit -Last Rites/Portable Mass Kit - Journal of Notes For Sale

One of the more interesting antiques I've ever found at an sale. This is a Viaticum Mass kit which from what I can find with the small journal book a clergyman traveled around Wisconsin performing last rites and communions and other services. I added some pictures of some random pages from the journal. There's also two of what I think are original candles. There's a little wooden altar with a cloth over it. There's a crucifix. And vestment. There's a small glass jar (which was originally a Anchor Hocking Cold cream jar) that holds hosts. There are still hosts inside the jar and they have a imprint of the crucifixion on them. And there's also four little glass containers for wine. The case shuts cleanly and has leather (or fake leather) on it and a kind of velvet cloth lining. Behind the "Altar" there's a wallpaper background and a flat metal piece that protects the case above the candles. There's also two holes to allow the heat or flame to escape. It all looks homemade to me. I can't quite tell what the crucifix is made of. Seems to me like it might be kind of a painted plaster of Paris. It doesn't feel like wood.

That's about everything I can tell you from observing the item. The size is 15"x 12" x 4"
