The rich cobalt color, tactile ribbing and prominent poison warning make this an especially attractive display bottle for collectors of antique pharmacy, apothecary, medical and druggist glass. Bottles of this style were deliberately made visually and physically distinctive so that potentially dangerous contents could be identified more easily.

Condition
Good antique condition overall. Bottle shows expected age-related surface wear, scuffs, scratches, residue and manufacturing irregularities in the glass. No chips or cracks were noted during inspection. The glass shows attractive variations and striations consistent with older molded glass production.
