Antique Enterprise Polishing Sad Iron detachable wood handle For Sale

This item is an original Enterprise Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The top of the iron base is embossed with the manufacturer name: ENTERPRISE MFG. CO. OF PHILA. PA. It also features the critical patent dates stamped along the rim and core: PAT. MAY 24, 70 and APRIL 4, 71. This model was produced during the late 19th century, most likely between the 1870s and 1890s. Please view photos for details.
