Beautiful antique hand-painted porcelain pitcher made by Habsburg China, Austria, likely dating to the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1890–1915).
This elegant piece features soft pastel shading with hand-painted white blossoms and foliage over a blended background of blues, greens, and soft rose tones. The scalloped rim and base are accented with gold gilt trim, and the handle shows lovely blue and rose shading typical of Austrian Art Nouveau porcelain.
Habsburg porcelain was produced in Altrohlau, Austria (now the Czech Republic) and is well known for finely painted decorative pieces and tableware exported throughout Europe and the United States in the early 1900s.
