Antique Woven Coverlet – Hand-Loomed Red, White & Blue Geometric Jacquard – 64\"x 78\" – 19th Century Americana

This is a beautiful and likely original 19th-century cotton woven coverlet, hand-loomed in two narrow panels (each approx. 32\" wide) and joined with a visible hand-stitched center seam—hallmarks of early American textile craftsmanship.The geometric motif is in Red White & Blue. There is a different design at the top of the coverlet.

The coverlet features selvedged edges on two sides anduneven, slightly irregular outer edges, Measuring approximately 64\" x 78\", it’s ideal as a bed topper, throw, or wall hanging and represents a fine example of early Americana textile art.

Burn test on all colors White is cotton I believe red and blue are wool or other natural fiber

Condition notes: The coverlet is in excellent antique condition. there are two small frays one just on the back side one on both sides. (see last 4 pictures) There is a small section that was repaired very hard to see. See pictures. The top the white has yellowed a little. No other visible damage
