The front features the HELMAR CIGARETTES name surrounding a raised-profile Egyptian pharaoh portrait, with colorful architectural and decorative motifs. The reverse features an Egyptian/Middle Eastern scene with palm trees, camels, pyramids, a mosque-like building and water scene.

The interior lid is printed:

and advertises Helmar as makers of Turkish and Egyptian cigarettes.

The reverse retains an original New Jersey 20-cigarette tax/revenue stamp.
