Antique Hotchkiss Stapler Paper Fastener 2A 1918 For Sale

Antique Hotchkiss Stapler Paper Fastener 2A 1918. Very cool antique metal stapler circa 1918. Measures 5.25” L x 2” W x 4.25” H. I would say for part or display as I am unable to get it to work despite staples being loaded and slider on the correct side, however, it may be fixable or I am doing it incorrectly. Rust and other surface imperfections throughout, as well as label attached to side reading “slider this side for stapling,” one little foot support on bottom missing. Please see photos closely for condition. Really cool antique display piece regardless.
