Up for buy-it-now is a breathtaking, authentic French porcelain beverage set by the renowned Jean Pouyat Limoges (J.P.L.) factory, dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century.
This beautiful 6-piece set includes one large lemonade/cider pitcher and five matching handles cups/mugs. Every piece features an incredibly detailed, hand-painted motif showcasing lush clusters of purple, green, and white grapes winding around natural vines and foliage against a soft, blended pastel background. The fruit de[iced are currants, green grapes, red grapes, blackberries and cherries, which is highly sought after by collectors to have the variety.
The artwork is all signed by artist-signed by F. Ellis.
The pitcher features an elegant, organically styled Art Nouveau handle with a soft luster glaze running down the spine, mirroring the exquisite craftsmanship found on the matching tankard cups.
