A pair of 1930s black amethyst glass shakers with their original metal screw-top lids - ribbed to match the sugar jar they came with. Hold them to the light and watch them turn purple; put them under a black light and they glow blue-violet.Included in Set:• 1 Large Canister featuring a bold embossed "S" on the front face, complete with a functional aluminum metal lid.• 2 Ribbed Range Shakers (Salt & Pepper) with matching original ribbed aluminum screw-on caps.Condition: Set is in good vintage conditions, with some wear / scratches and dents over time that are represented in the photo. There is one knick out of the large canister, please see photo, hard to see with the eye but if you hold it up to the light you can see the purple amethyst glass under it.
