Beautiful vintage/antique Leuchtenburg Germany porcelain decorative plate, measuring approximately 8 inches in diameter.Features a detailed scene of two long-legged water birds, likely herons, standing beside a pond surrounded by grasses, flowers, trees and foliage. The plate has soft green shading around the border with ornate gold-tone scroll accents.The reverse is clearly marked “LEUCHTENBURG Germany.” It also has small openings on the back with an older hanging cord attached, so it can be displayed on a wall.A lovely piece for collectors of antique German porcelain, bird-themed decor, heron or crane collectibles, and scenic decorative plates.
