Beautiful antique Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad porcelain fish plate, approximately 8 inches across, featuring a light blue scalloped border, gold-colored trim, and a detailed fish and seashell aquatic design.
The underside has the Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad maker’s mark, along with an older collector/dealer label identifying the piece as circa 1891.
Displays beautifully and would make a great addition to a collection of antique porcelain, Victorian tableware, fish plates, nautical décor, or Carlsbad china.
Pre-owned antique condition with age-related wear, including some loss/wear to the gold trim and decoration. No obvious major chips or cracks seen. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
