For sale is a beautiful, scarce piece of turn-of-the-century American tobacciana: an original Oriental Mixture smoking tobacco tin. This highly graphic humidor tin was produced by the American Tobacco Company as the successor to the early American Eagle Tobacco Company.
Design & Graphics:- The exterior lid features an ornate, colorful patterned border surrounding a mustard-yellow background with the crescent moon \"ATCo\" trade mark logo and the text \"Oriental Mixture / A High Grade Tobacco.\" Opening the hinged lid reveals a stunning interior lithograph featuring a soaring eagle graphic and art nouveau lettering detailing the pipe and cigarette blend properties.

Condition: This tin is in great antique condition and displays beautifully. The interior metal compartment is exceptionally clean and bright. The interior lid graphics are vivid and crisp with just one small point of paint loss along the top right edge. The exterior shows an authentic aged patina with light surface scuffing, edge wear, and minor surface rust spots primarily along the lower base rims and seams as pictured. The hinge is fully intact and functions smoothly. The lid sits completely flush and closes tightly all the way across the front face. A premier addition to any advanced advertising, tobacciana, or early litho tin collection.
