Antique Prentiss Vise Co. “Bull Dog” No. 91 bench vise, marked New York. This is a heavy early American bench vise with 3.5” jaws and a 32 lb weight. It includes the vise, swivel base ring, and bench clamp hardware shown in the photos. Many antique vises are found without the base or clamp pieces, so this is a nice setup with the included parts shown.
The vise has a great old industrial look with visible raised markings on the body reading Prentiss Vise Co., New York, Bull Dog, and No. 91. The jaw faces show crosshatching and old use wear. The body, screw, handle, base, and clamp hardware all show honest age, patina, oxidation, scratches, old tool marks, and surface wear.
This appears to be an early 1900s-era American-made bench vise from the antique shop tool period. It would be a great piece for a workbench, machinist tool collection, blacksmith/shop display, restoration project, or vintage garage setup.

CONDITION
Used antique condition. Shows wear from age and use, including scratches, scuffs, oxidation, patina, pitting, old tool marks, and finish wear throughout. The jaws show wear and surface marks. The base ring and clamp hardware are included as pictured. I have not fully restored or disassembled it. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
