The antique Revolutionary War powder horn with initials B.L. and dated 1775 holds historical significance as an original piece from the period of the American Revolution. The end wood cap has a drilled and threaded hole with a matching hand made wood screw for the strap attachment and possibly to fill the horn with gun powder. Larger size horn at about 14 inches. With the carved initials and date this seems to be a special and historic piece.
