Beautiful antique Ridgways Lugano Flow Blue covered serving dish with rich cobalt blue floral decoration, ornate molded borders, and elegant gold accents throughout.
This is a striking early 20th-century English porcelain piece with a dramatic scalloped shape, matching handled lid, and the deep flowing blue that makes antique Flow Blue so collectible.
The lid and base display coordinating floral decoration and gilt highlights, giving the piece a very formal, decorative appearance. It would make a wonderful addition to a Flow Blue collection, antique china display, or Victorian/Edwardian-inspired dining room.
Condition: Good antique condition overall. There is one visible hairline fracture, shown clearly in the photos. The clear tape visible in some pictures was only used temporarily to keep the lid securely in place while handling and photographing; it is not covering a repair. There is also normal age-related wear to the gilding and finish consistent with an antique piece.
Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition description.
