Antique Royal Vienna Style Wagner Signed Portrait Cabinet Plate IVY w/ Lg Frame For Sale

This Antique Royal Vienna Style Wagner Signed Portrait Cabinet Plate IVY (Asti) with Frame is a stunning collector\'s item featuring intricate details. Handmade circa 1895-1910 this excellent condition porcelain plate with no chips or cracks or crazing showcases the artistry of the German/Austrian Wagner style with its portrait Asti style design and unique ivy motif. Measuring approx. 10 inches in diameter and 1\" in depth, this piece comes in an ornate frame. The large frame 22.5\" x 22.5\" has damage on all the spikes and an area on the front which have been crudely fixed. It does look stunning in its frame though. Frame is mitered wood with high-relief composition formations. When received the wood stays in back were broken so there was tape criss-crossed on the back of the plate to hold it in place to the frame. The tape was removed but tape was maintained on the important stickers on the back so as not to lift them. The back has the green painted factory star identification, the underglaze beehive, the Bunde and Upmeyer Jewels sticker from Milwaukee, WI, and production numbers. Plate and frame will be boxed separately into one larger box. Lovely!
