Antique 2-blade clerical style pen pocket knife manufactured circa 1903 to 1932 by the Schatt & Morgan Cutlery Company in Titusville, Pennsylvania. This premium early folder features a stacked S X M / TITUSVILLE / P.A. maker mark struck into the master blade tang. This item is sold strictly in as-is parts or repair condition due to a broken master blade that has been snapped off flat. Mechanically, the internal backsprings remain exceptionally strong and active, delivering a powerful, crisp mechanical snap on both the secondary pen blade and the remaining master blade stub when opening and closing. The smooth yellow synthetic handle scales are in beautiful, tight condition with an unengraved oval nickel silver center shield, showing flush metal pinning and absolutely no chips or cracks. The old carbon steel components are completely stabilized with zero active rust, exhibiting a heavy, uniform dark carbon patina and general surface use wear.
