Highly collectible Antique Tequila Sauza Hand-Carved Wooden Barrel Canteen dating from the historic Eladio Sauza era (circa 1910–1930).
Don Eladio Sauza took control of the legendary Casa Sauza distillery following his father's passing in 1909. He expanded operations, industrialized international shipping, and introduced these distinctive, branded transport canteens. The business was later handed over to his son in 1943.
This genuine piece of Mexican distillery history features deep, ornamental hand-carved geometric and floral patterns directly into the wood staves. The front face features a beautifully preserved stamped oval branding that reads: "TEQUILA SAUZA - ELADIO SAUZA - TEQUILA, JAL., MEXICO".

This primitive artifact is in excellent antique condition with a rich, authentic aged patina. The wood show beautiful natural coloration and weathering consistent with age.
