Antique Tibetan Kangling Ritual Horn Trumpet Copper Makara Buddhist 16.5 inches For Sale

This beautiful & unusual Tibetan/Himalayan Buddhist ceremonial ritual horn/trumpet is known as a “Kangling”. It’s from the early to mid 20th century, possibly earlier and measures 16.5 inches in length. It’s all hand-worked and features a detailed makara/dragon-like-mythical-creature surrounded by raised silver-colored-metal of florals and scrolls. Also, it has great age related patina, tarnish, surface wear,
small dents, irregularities and wear to the metal work. There is one small condition issue…the rim of the mouthpiece /tip looks and feels irregular. It’s jagged, rough, sharp. Please see photos and I’m happy to send more if needed. There hasn’t been any polishing or restoration.
