A gorgeous jacquard coverlet in cotton and wool with a wonderful floral motif in the center and borders with doves. The colors are unusually strong. It has a center seam consistent with the period and wool fringes on the sides and white cotton fringes at the bottom. It is displayed on a double/full bed.
The condition is excellent. We find no holes or spots. The side fringes have some damage, as pictured. It is in unusually good shape considering its age.
