The Brooklyn was an armored cruiser commissioned in 1896 and is particularly associated with the Spanish-American War era. This excellent early naval photograph provides a clear broadside view of the four-funnel warship at anchor, with another vessel visible in the distance.

Condition: Good antique condition overall with age toning, scattered surface wear/soiling and expected edge and corner wear. There is some fading/discoloration in the image area consistent with age. Reverse has a small old stain/mark above the printed text. Images remain quite clear and attractive. Please review photographs carefully for condition.
