Beautiful antique brass double inkwell writing desk set featuring an ornate oval base, pierced gallery, two matching lidded inkwells, central vessel, front accessory holder, decorative feet, and an elaborate raised pen/quill rest.
Substantial construction weighing approximately 3 lbs 15.2 oz. The brass has been left unpolished and retains a wonderful naturally aged surface with deep patina and areas of verdigris.
The center vessel is open and appears to be missing its original lid and/or insert. Other original inserts or writing accessories may also be absent. No maker’s mark was located.
