The bottom is clearly stein is marked 0.5L and is a wonderful example of antique Mettlach stoneware.Condition: Antique condition with expected age-related wear and patina. There is a fine hairline crack extending downward from the rim on the interior wall, which is shown clearly in the close-up photos. The pewter lid and hinge are present and intact. There is some age-related discoloration/staining inside the stein.
