Antique “WELCOME” Playing Cards,WALDORF No. 230,A. Dougherty,c.1915 For Sale

Hello,Listing is for one Antique Deck of Waldorf No.230 Playing Cards titled WELCOME,often referred to as the “Brothel Deck” among collectors.Cards made by the Andrew Dougherty Company of New York c.1915.Hochman AD 47.Deck is complete 52/52 + Joker.Cards are in excellent condition for 110 year old cards and quite clean.There is fading (please refer to pictures) on gold gilt,particularly in the middle from card play however card edges still quite sharp.No signs of abuse.There is a warp on the Joker card which I tried to show in the 3rd picture of my listing.It is not a crack or hard bend.I believe a card press would do the job to completey flatten.Warp is vertical.Card backs are Monotone Sepia with no fading.There is no original tuck case,the cards are housed in a celluloid case which was very popular at the time these cards were made.These cards make a beautiful representation.Carefully packaged and shipped USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.Thanks
