American yellow ware mixing bowl, produced by Weller pottery
In the center of the base, there is a very faint, shallow, circular indentation. While blurred over by the thick glaze, this is the classic impressed block-letter "WELLER" mark. The bottom of the bowl provides excellent diagnostic details that heavily point to it being an authentic antique piece from Weller Pottery, made between 1910 and 1920.
This bowl’s opening measures approximately 5.5” across making making a No 5 bowl Accor to their scale
There are no chips, cracks, or deep structural hairline fractures. The slip banding is still vibrant and only a small spot near the kiln scaring at the base.
