Antique c. 1860s Victorian Oval Ebonized Frame w/ Old Glass ~ holds 8\"X10\" For Sale

Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Victorian Period Accessories. Antique Victorian Ebonized frame with carved leaves and nuts. Dates somewhere in the 1860-1870 period at Circa 1865. Civil War era piece. Wood has old probably original black ebonized paint. Selling as pictured with old possibly original glass (glass has some bubbles (last pic shows large bubble near edge). NO backboard (frame with glass only). Currently set up for horizontal use, but you can move the eyelets and hang vertically pretty easily. Antique. Over 150 years old. Good condition for age. Measures about 12 1/4\" tall x 14 1/4\" overall at extremes. Holds 8\" x 10\". Old black finish with wear and scratches. No breaks or re-glued pieces. The inner liner has darkened and worn to a black color. Nice old patina. You may notice wear, scuffs, and dings from normal age and use. I believe the glass is original and has some bubbles. No backboard. What I feel are the very minor condition issues listed only add charm and character to this 150+ year old frame. No backboard. Will hold 8\" x 10\".   Guaranteed 19th Century.
