Nouveau Repoussé Brass Box w/ Fleur de Lis & Floral Motif
This is an antique tin casket/trinket box with a beautiful patina finish. All sides contain hand crafted intricate patterns from the Art Nouveau period. Lid comes all the way off only to find a hidden elephant on the bottom side. Embossed and repoussé brass makes this piece of art a true conversation piece
Ownership history is not available. I purchased it at an estate sale & only know the above details and that it was probably crafted sometime between 1901-1921. No damages…only the tarnish & discoloration from its aging process. 😊
