You are offerding on the pictured Smith\'s / Norton Black Hard Arkansas Sharpening Stone - 4\" x 2\" x 1\". This benchSharpening Stone measures approximately 4\" x 2\" x 1\". This is a very fine natural and very hard stone.This used/estate item is being sold in the condition shown in the pictures.
Has box bottom. Stone was originally glued to bottom and has since come loose. Glue marks on bottom indicate that the conchoidal chip on the bottom was there at time of manufacture. No lid so I cannot be sure who marketed this stone. I have a larger one like this marketed by Smith and I had a Norton HB6 that I sent to my brother years ago that was just like this. This stone is not translucent.
