BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK by WM L GILBERT CLOCK CO., WINSTED, CONN 1906 For Sale

Up for grabs is this beautiful mantel clock that was in my family for over 70 years. I don't know what the 1906 means on the inside of the clock, but could mean patented then or made. (see pic) It is from the Wm L. Gilbert Clock Company from Winsted, CONN as the engraving states on the inside. My hand is also on the inside so I could move the pendulum out of the way to allow you to see the 1906 engraving.I grew up with the chiming and the tic-toc. It comes with 2 keys too that are taped to the clock....one on the bottom and one in the back.My kids don't want this, so this is your chance to get this rare specimen.In moving to my new house, the front of the clock face door glass cracked across. I don't want to mess with getting it fixed, which is why I am selling this for a bargain. I also don't know if it still works, so selling this "AS IS".There is a sticker on the back too, that says $7.50, which might be what it sold for new back in the time period. It measures 18" across x 12" high x 5" deep, approximately. The wood columns and sides are wine-colored with gold.
