Offering this 100% genuine signature of WWII Medal of Honor recipient R/Adm. BRUCE McCANDLESS I, USN (1911-1968). McCandless served as the communications officer of the cruiser USS San Francisco (CL-38) during WWII. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for valor during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in which he assumed command of the ship after R/Adm. Danial Callaghan and Capt. Cassin Young were killed. He was also awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. Signed 3x5 card.Good shape w/ normal signs of age. Read the entire listing carefully.
