Outstanding 159-year-old piece of American banking history dated 1867 from the Banking House of A. Kingsbury, Cassopolis, Michigan.

This historic $100 check features an impressive engraved vignette, ornate period script, No. 4407, original signatures, cancellation markings, and an attached 2¢ orange U.S. Internal Revenue Bank Check stamp.

The reverse retains multiple period endorsements and a PAID bank cancellation, giving this piece excellent character and authenticity as a genuine used financial document from the post-Civil War era.
