This is a striking match safe. A close up of a woman's face surrounded by water plants. Almost like she is rising through a pond. I can spy lily flowers and cattail plants. One of the more surprising things to me about this one is that it is not made of silver. The artwork of this would typically have been seen in silver as a higher priced piece. There are signs of use and wear that you can see in the pictures.
This match safe comes from a large inherited collection that has been entrusted to us on consignment.
