This chunky bear is from the wonderful Bernard Homer, Jr. (d) who used a large specimen of local Zuni stone travertine, to which he attached an offering bundle of double arrowheads - one spiny oyster shell, with a turquoise one atop it, strung with heishi beads. Likely dating to the 70's or 80's, this impressive vintage bear fetish is in great shape, save for the small inconspicuous area of repair to his right rear foot.
