From an old collection, this isa very good and nicely prepared example of the trilobite Gravicalymene arcuata,collected from the Berwyn Hills of Denbighshire in Wales, the trilobitemeasures 2.5cm in length approx., on a piece of matrix measuring 9cm by 9cm approx.
Three of the edges of the matrixhave been ground smooth, so the trilobite can be displayed stood up on a numberof angles.
