Bulgarian Peoples Army BPA Officer Uniform Kit Hat Belt Shoulder Boards Cold War For Sale

Authentic accessory grouping of Bulgarian People\'s Army (BPA) components dating to the late Socialist period, roughly 1970-85. The set includes a garrison-style side cap (Pilotka) with Bulgarian national tricolor cockade, a dress belt with brass hardware featuring a rampant lion and red star, and two pairs of matched officer shoulder boards. The shoulder boards likely indicate Lieutenant and Senior Lieutenant.

Everything is characteristic Warsaw Pact state-contract production, sturdy and functional. The side cap retains its original factory label from the Hristo Botev enterprise in Kalofer, Bulgaria. Shoulder boards have the traditional Soviet-style aluminum screw-post and disc mounts for the stars. The white dress belt shows a distinctive red and green tracer weave most commonly seen on ceremonial attire.

• Side Cap: Size 56 (approx. US 7). Excellent vintage condition with slight softening of the canvas and minor darkening of the leather interior sweatband consistent with light use.
• Shoulder Boards: Mixed ranks, slightly varied finishing quality with cut edges on one and finished edges on the others. The two-star boards have a center-punched hole for a third star; boards came in as shown.
• Belt & Buckle: Fully adjustable (current adjustment shown is good for approximately 31-33\" waist, with plenty of room up or down). The brass-plated buckle has a small casting crack at center, stable, likely from original production. Light surface soiling on the white webbing.
• Hardware: All screw-post fasteners present and functional. No odor of smoke or heavy oxidation.
