Burlington Route light cardstock Poster - Victory Garden 14" x 11". Estate find. It seems to be rather unusual. According to internet sources, some Railroads did offer parts of their rights of ways for "Victory Gardens" during WWII. A few still survive as historical places. Victory Gardens throughout the U.S. accounted for about 40 percent of the produce America was able to grow during the war . These gardens saved on produce shipping too - leaving more railspace free to meet the demands of military related shipping. Winning the War was truly a nationwide effort in America. Posters have some corner bumping, wrinkling, scuffs and a little offsetting . The printing/ color is strong. Please see my photo - it is part of the description - and feel free to ask questions.
