This specimen is LIVE COLLECTED. It retains full color and gloss over the entire shell. The siphons are perfect, there are no chips or cracks anywhere on the shell. The only "flaw" is a perfectly healed and naturally glossed-over nacre chip (see photos). It is fully mature, just a small size. The color on the shell is very intense, by far the richest color I've ever seen on a raywalkeri.
GEM specimens of Zoila rosselli raywalkeri are selling for over $30,000, as demand for this beautiful species continues to rise and very few high-quality pieces are available anywhere!
