Up for sale is a Castello Old Sea Rock KKK 31, made in Cantù, Italy, with the Carlo Scotti oval stamp.
This is a very lightly smoked Castello in the rugged Old Sea Rock finish, with deep craggy rustication, warm reddish-brown color, and a classic bent billiard-style profile. The pipe has excellent Castello presence without being overly heavy, coming in at only 1.7 oz / 47 g.
The pipe is stamped Castello / Old Sea Rock / KKK 31 / Made in Cantù / Italy, with the Carlo Scotti oval stamp. Stem is stamped Hand Made Castello and has the Castello gem insert.
Condition is excellent overall. The pipe has been very lightly smoked, with only minimal evidence of use. The chamber is clean, rim presents well with only minimal darkening if any, and the stem shows light handling/storage marks and very minor teeth chatter near the button.
