Offered here is the complete TWENTY FIVE (25) PLATE collection of the beloved M.I. HUMMEL ANNUAL PLATES, produced by GOEBEL® of WEST GERMANY from 1971 to 1995. Each plate features a charming child motif inspired by the original drawings of SISTER M.I. (MARIA INOCENTIA) BERTA HUMMEL, the BAVARIAN NUN whose gentle, faith‑filled artwork captured hearts worldwide. Every year’s design was carefully sculpted and hand‑painted by GOEBEL® artisans, continuing Berta’s legacy of innocence and joy. The plates are crafted in high‑quality GLAZED PORCELAIN and each plate features vivid colors and crisp detail true to SISTER HUMMEL\'S original sketches. All TWENTY FIVE (25) PLATES are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs with the year embossed on the front and the authentic GOEBEL® backstamp on the reverse. Each plate is approximately 7.5 INCHES in diameter and have been lovingly displayed and well cared for. While the sale is for the plates only and DOES NOT include original packaging or paperwork, the plates themselves are ready for display or gifting. This is a wonderful opportunity for the M.I. HUMMEL collector and plates will be properly packed for shipping. All our items come from a smoke and pet‑free environment. Photos are part of the description and can be enlarged for detail. ♦ ABOUT THE ARTIST ♦

SISTER M.I. (MARIA INOCENTIA) BERTA HUMMEL, (1909–1946) was a FRANCISCAN NUN and artist whose tender depictions of children reflected her deep faith and love of humanity. Her drawings inspired GOEBEL\'S® famous M.I. HUMMEL figurines and plates, which became cherished symbols of peace and simplicity after WORLD WAR II. The annual plate series began in 1971 to honor her enduring influence, with each year’s design celebrating a different aspect of childhood, curiosity, kindness, and wonder. Complete sets like this are increasingly hard to find intact. These plates display beautifully together and represent nearly a quarter‑century of GOEBEL® craftsmanship and SISTER HUMMEL\'S timeless artistry.
