This listing is fora striking complete set of 10 collector plates entitled the "Woodland Wildlife" Collection by Lenox featuring the artwork of Edward Marshall Boehm. Each beautiful plate has an approximate diameter of 10 1/2-inches, is trimmed with an ornate cobalt blue and 24-karat gold border and is in excellent condition. Each plate is also in the original brown Lenox box and 8 of the 10 Descriptive Insert Cards are included. The boxes are in good condition overall, but you'll find that tape has been used on some of them and they each have a small tape tag labeling the edge of the box with the name of the plate it holds. This plate set was part of the private collection of a long time plate collector who is now in the process of downsizing, and I don't think they've ever been displayed.
Included in this set of 10 plates you'll receive: Raccoons - 1973, Red Foxes - 1974, Cotton Tail Rabbits - 1975, Eastern Chipmunks - 1976, Beavers - 1977, Whitetail Deer - 1978, Squirrels - 1979, Bobcats - 1980, Martens - 1981 and River Otters - 1982.
As you can see in the photos, the colors are vibrant and the attention to detail is nicely done making this plate set a great gift choice or a beautiful statement set addition for a collector.
