Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Sled (2014 Contest Winner)
In 2014, Jack Daniel’s hosted an annual holiday contest “It’s the Thought That Counts” and offered an incredible prize: 1 of 5 custom full sized sleds that were made from an actual Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrel. They enlisted the help of a custom woodworking shop Kartwheel to make these sleds and hand painted each of them, this one being named “Lady Lynchburg” (and as I understand it, they’re each named differently and this one was the one used for all the promotional photos you’ll find online during a google search).
This was the prize for one of the lucky 5 winners in 2015 and it has been carefully stored since. It’s been unused (it’s a decorative piece of course). It’s several feet long and very heavy (must be upwards of 20 pounds at least) as it’s literally made from a whiskey barrel with full iron details! It even has a holster to hold a Jack Daniel’s bottle of whiskey (NO ALCOHOL IS INCLUDED IN THIS sale). It’s in perfect shape with some light aging on the ends of the sled legs where it’s been carefully standing since I’ve had it (you can see in the picture). It is beautiful, you’ll never see anything like it again, and would be the perfect addition to any bar, man cave, or any home for a Jack Daniel’s fan! What an incredible story behind it too! Hesitant to let it go as I’d love to pass it down but will let it go for the right price. Shipping alone will cost a couple hundred dollars to make sure this gets to you perfectly!
