Philippine Land Snail Shell
A particularly striking collector specimen of Cyclophorus daraganicus, distinguished by its exceptionally bold coloration and dramatic natural patterning.
This shell displays a rich, deep chocolate-brown coloration contrasted by sharply defined cream-white zigzag and flame-like markings. The unusually dark, high-contrast pattern gives this individual tremendous visual presence despite its relatively small size. The rounded form, well-defined spire and bright pale aperture provide an especially attractive contrast when viewed from different angles.
The specimen presents in excellent collector condition, with attractive natural luster and the spire, aperture and lip showing beautifully. No major chips, cracks or repairs are observed. Please examine the detailed photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.
Measurements: Approximately 24.8 x 16.7 mm
Weight: Approximately 1.3 g
The specimen was acquired as part of a mixed shell lot and was individually wrapped, consistent with dealer-prepared inventory. No original collection or locality label accompanied the shell. Cyclophorus daraganicus is a Philippine species, but no specific collection locality is claimed for this individual specimen.
The exact specimen shown in the photographs is the shell you will receive. Multiple views are provided along with measurement and weight photographs for collector reference.
An exceptionally attractive, high-contrast example for a land snail, Philippine mollusk, gastropod, or general conchology collection.
