This is an amazing and very rare sign from the old Disney MGM studios. This is one of the rare cast member only signs that would have been on a door.
While I realize that signs have become extremely easy to reproduce, those are clearly new reproductions either 3D printed, made out of another plastic material, or cheap tin all material that is easy to reproduce.
This is clearly old and shows all the genuine telltale signs of wear. It shows years of wear including dirt and overall usage. What's most important is whatever kind of material this is it seems to show age and wear from the elements like sun wind and just being in the air, because a lot of it feels very dry and old.
I believe this is what is called mixed media components that means it's made of more than one component I don't think you'd ever see that in a reproduction. The black part is a different material than the bottom part. If you know anything about reproductive signs there either a cheap 10 or cheap metal or acrylic or 3D printed this is definitely a different type of material than any of the reproductions would be. Plus like I said this show signs of years of use.
This was acquired from a collector/ seller who gets very cool authentic signs.
It measures 4 1/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide. This is in good Park used condition.
