Dietz Scout \"H1\" NY Skating Lantern 1920-23 Antique Bronze Tin/Steel Great Shape For Sale

Dietz Scout \"H1\" NY Skating Lantern 1920-23. This lantern is in very good condition for its\' age and has an antique bronze colored tin or steel body with only one small dent on the base. All parts are there and no cracks in the clear glass. Raised embossed lettering of \"DIETZ SCOUT\" and \"NY U.S.A.\" with a raised \"H 1\" on other top side of glass.
It also has horizontal venting slits on the burner base, and interlocking tab locks at the bottom mechanism. Those were traits of the brief 1920\'s Dietz Scout manufacturing run before the company transitioned to the Dietz Sport model. The burner unscrews smoothly and the wick raiser turns but very tight.
The skating lantern measures 7\" tall plus 4\" tall handle (11\" total) by 3\" wide. See other measurements in the pictures listed. This would be a great addition for any skating collector or lantern collector.
