Disney LE RARE The Little Mermaid Painted Bronze Lamp. Lamp to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of ''The Little Mermaid,'' Artist Jody Daily has created the look for this piece with the flowing lines of the art nouveau style, an elegant look not unlike some of the earliest design concepts created for the story in the 1930s. Ariel is joined by Sebastian the crab as she gently lifts a sand dollar made of dappled frosted glass to cast an enchanted glow from fathoms below. Measures 16”.5 height x 9” width. Maximum 25-watt Type C bulb, included. Cord 71'' L with on/off switch. Bronze and glass. Limited Edition of 1000 pieces made worldwide. This piece has been painted silver and it does have some flaws. Ariel’s right hand was missing which has now been replaced with a starfish as her hand. She is also missing the flower on her head that has been filled in and painted to match. The glass beads around the shade area do have some paint and chips on them but really blends in nicely. The glass dome piece does have tiny chip but not seen when displayed. Overall I rate this piece a 7 out of 10 as it displays beautifully even with the missing pieces. This is a gorgeous lamp! Please see all pictures before purchasing and ask any questions.
