Charming vintage December Angel ceramic figurine made in Japan, featuring a sweet mid-century angel holding a teal Christmas wreath accented with a gold bow.
This whimsical little angel has wonderful details including a gold halo, outstretched wings with gold accents, a red bow in her hair, rosy cheeks, long painted eyelashes, and an applied red poinsettia on her dress. Additional gold detailing and an applied bow decorate her skirt.
The base is trimmed with original textured fabric ruffling and is scripted in gold with “December Angel.” The underside retains the original red and gold ARN Japan foil label.
Measures approximately 4¼” tall and 3” wide.
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear including crazing, wear and loss to some of the gold accents, surface wear, and discoloration/aging to the fabric trim. These details are consistent with age and give her wonderful vintage character. No major chips or repairs were observed, but please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
A delightful piece for a vintage Christmas collection, mid-century holiday display, Japan angel collection, December birthday gift, or retro Christmas vignette. Her teal wreath, red accents, and wonderfully expressive little face make her especially charming.
