This listing is for four high-quality, vinyl, orange and black placards, (peel and stick adhesive backed).PLACARDS\' DIMENSIONS꞉ These heavy vinyl HAZARDOUS MATERIALS PLACARDS are black ink printed over orange vinyl and measure a square 10 ⅝\" x 10 ⅝\". The adhesive is in excellent condition; there are no signs of discoloration, browning, staining or curling. In other words, these are brand-new, old-inventory. APPLICATIONS꞉ These placards would make a great addition to your back yard fireworks show, college dorm room wall, basement recreation room, military collection, to draw attention to your booth at the gun show, fireworks show souvenirs, or your 4th of July upcoming event, (they look great in bars and saloons affixed to an inside wall). Please, use common sense in placing and affixing these placards. ADDITIONAL NOTES꞉ These placards are no longer available - thus considered a collector\'s items - given the United States adopted the United Nations Explosives Shipping Classification System many years ago. Inasmuch, these placards are no longer acceptable for transportation or storage, (these placards were previously used to identify munitions shipments).These placards were used to mark mining and quarrying blasting sheds, explosives storage bunkers, train cars, truck trailers, cargo containers, and transport convoys. At the time these high quality vinyl orange and black EXPLOSIVES CLASS A-1 placards were in use, they were used to identify the most dangerous high-grade explosives, such as꞉ Dynamite, ANFO (ammonium nitrate & fuel oil); TNT (Trinitrotoluene), blasting caps, flash powder (salutes, cherry bombs, M-80s), bulk packages of black powder, Mercury Fulminate, Lead Azide, and military explosives. In other words, shipments likely to cause the highest degree of destruction in the event of a mishap.SHIPPING COST꞉ These placards ship in a stiff cardboard tube to prevent folding, creasing and bending.
