An elegant and highly collectible official Erté \"Fireflies\" Letter Opener, created in 2003 from one of Erté\'s celebrated Art Deco designs. This sculptural desk accessory was produced under license and originally offered through Park West Gallery, renowned for representing Erté\'s artwork and collectibles. The design features a graceful female figure with flowing hair forming the handle, holding a brilliant red enamel orb inspired by Erté\'s iconic Fireflies illustration. It was produced in gold-plated pewter with a gold-plated steel blade and red enamel accents.
Provenance
This is a one-owner example, acquired new from Park West Gallery and carefully preserved in the original presentation box. It has remained in the same private collection since purchase and has never changed hands.
