A striking vintage carved wood wall panel,"Daniel in the Lions Den'",designed by Evelyn Ackerman for ERA Industries,The tall, narrow format combines a stylized angel blowing a horn, a wonderfully expressive lion, and an architectural human figure into one cohesive vertical design. The hand-worked appearance, warm natural wood grain and substantial carving give the piece remarkable presence on the wall.The plaque bears Evelyn Ackerman's distinctive “EA” monogram within the carving, visible in more than one location. A faint ERA Industries marking is also present on the reverse.
